简介：大唐長安發生一起兇殺案，大食國使節薩羅，在青樓遇害，現場一片狼藉。　　狄仁傑、洪雲奉旨追查，卻不料遭到真兇一夥人的埋伏，好友洪雲也慘死一個叫天煞的鐵勒人之手，而作爲貢品，幻涅魔蛾的蟲後蛹也被天煞奪取。因辦案不利，狄仁傑被武則天革職查辦。　　一晃數年，剛剛稱帝的武則天一夜之間，身中癲狂奇毒，懷疑有人下毒，於是命金吾衛統領元豐，召狄仁傑回京，祕查此案。　　而此時的狄仁傑，已經成爲一個農夫，每日和懷孕嬌妻爲伴，不曾想元豐的到來，會打破生活的平靜。　　面對元豐的懇求，看破宦海沉浮的狄仁傑，斷然拒絕，而妻子卻開解丈夫，爲了社稷安寧，天下百姓，狄仁傑再三猶豫，還是告別妻子，和元豐祕密回京。　　在武則天的寢室，曾經的一代女皇，形如枯槁，生命如風中殘燭，讓狄仁傑頗爲感慨之際，元豐突然中毒，大發癲狂，攻擊狄仁傑。　　在制服元豐後，狄仁傑在現場，捉住一隻可疑的飛蛾，於是和元豐，帶回故居的實驗室，藥液檢測之下，竟然發現，此飛蛾是產自大食國的幻涅魔蛾，也是當年，被天煞等鐵勒人搶走的大食國貢品，其蛾粉，劇毒無比，能令人致幻癲狂而死，但因爲不是完全體的幻涅魔蛾，所以毒性不強，只能日積月累，才能殺死目標。　　就在二人商量下一步行動之際，天煞帶着手下偷襲，意欲殺人滅口，但可惜面對狄仁傑、元豐，還是狼狽而逃。　　爲了給武則天解毒，狄仁傑帶着元豐，通過亂葬崗的地道，來到了九幽城尋找精通蟲道的洪雲妹妹---飛羽。　　精通蟲道的飛羽幫二人，以幻涅蟲王調製了魔蛾的解毒藥劑。與此同時，天煞帶人偷襲，三人殺死天煞，逃出生天，併成功將藥劑，帶回皇宮，給武則天服下。　　然而，這一切其實是武則天的苦肉計。　　原來，她和鐵勒首領諾依德合謀，命元豐引誘狄仁傑尋找飛羽，從而黃雀在後，得到天底下唯一的幻涅蟲王，用來製造真正的完全體幻涅魔蛾，以毒殺李氏宗親，鞏固皇位。　　狄仁傑、飛羽以謀反罪，鋃鐺入獄。　　元豐在得知真相後，棄暗投明，放出了狄仁傑、飛羽。　　三人根據元豐腳底的碳粉，在洛陽的廢棄鐵匠鋪，找到了鐵勒部的老巢，卻遲了一步，諾依德等人已經潛入武則天壽誕。　　從埋伏的天煞口中得知，諾依德並不打算聽命武則天，而是計劃背叛她，殺死所有大唐皇族重臣，從而裏應外合，入主中原。　　解決掉天煞後，狄仁傑等人僞裝成天竺國使節，潛入壽誕，齊心合力，成功阻止了幻涅魔蛾的擴散，挫敗了諾依德的陰謀。　　而經過此時，武則天也意識到親情比龍椅更重要，於是放棄了對付李氏的想法，猶豫之下，還是放走了忠君愛國的狄仁傑。　　於是乎，狄仁傑、飛羽告別元豐，踏上了回家的路。

People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
