影片講述香港發生了多起離奇命案，死者均有大量失血的症狀。作家阿祖（<李燦森飾）與記者皰疹（<林曉峯飾）是一對好友，分別因挖掘創作靈感和找尋新聞素材而對這些案件產生了興趣，而祖的印尼網友王茵（<胡杏兒飾）是一名靈學專家，得知此案後認爲事情並不簡單，遂赴港與阿祖及皰疹聯手調查。三人經過深入調查，發現原來是細菌在作祟，在印尼有一種千年古木，其中寄生着一種真菌，人們將這種木頭製成棺材後，死人的屍體就會被真菌控制，成爲喪屍。而這種木頭日前流入了香港。多起命案均是喪屍所爲，而喪屍生前的妻子（<湯盈盈飾）爲了不讓丈夫離開自己，也助紂爲虐，以美色誘惑獵物上鉤，成爲丈夫的腹中之物。祖等三人得知原委後準備阻止喪屍繼續害人，一場人屍大戰就此展開…… >
